Freedom is now a year old! Wow how time just zooms by! He is doing wonderful and still amazes us every day. Now he is for sale! We look forward to you seeing him as the outstanding boy that we see every day! He will be the only Pride Stallion that we know of in the USA. As Pride produces very few boys and the ones we have sold have been gelded in the past. So if you are looking for a Stallion prospect with a perfect temperament Freedom is the guy you want. His perfect temperament, conformation, and just the fact he is a Pride and Joy son is enough to make anyone drool. He is amazing. OUR COMMENTS ON FREEDOM FROM LAST YEAROur beautiful Freedom is our Colt born June 12, 2010 out of our AMAZING Mare Dolly And our PERFECT Stallion Pride and Joy. Freedom is registered with the GHRA Freedom is an old soul, Even at his very young age when you look at him you get this sense of wisdom. A world of knowledge locked in those big innocent eyes just waiting to be rediscovered. Freedom is a special boy and in one so young there is a presence of greatness about him! I (Katrina) have given him a total of 3 halter lessons and on his second lesson decided to give him a hose down which required a tying lesson. Freedom didn't like the idea of being tied which is not unusual as most foals don't understand what is going on on their first tie lesson either. I grabbed the hose and turned on the water. The noise at first was a little concerning to Freedom but the second he felt that water on his back I could just see this light bulb light up in his eyes. He turned looked at me and gave me this look like .. "OH well why didn't you just say you wanted to hose me down!" Freedom promptly lowered his head to his knees gave a big sigh cocked his hip and took a snooze while enjoying his water massage. I have never had a foal do this before not during a first bath and especially not on a first tying lesson! I was amazed. Yesterday after our walk and mini photo session I decided to do another tying lesson while I washed his mommas tail well to make a long story short he got a full shampoo bath complete with face and sheath cleaning! He didn't care what I did as long as he was getting wet somewhere. After I finished with him I tried to wash up Momma but every time I stopped spraying him he would lift his head look around find me and move to where he would get side spray off mommas water! He is so funny. A TRUE WATER BABY IF I HAVE EVER SEEN ONE! |
